The video is a follow-up on the use of Surfer SEO for creating and ranking articles. The speaker had previously published nine articles using Surfer SEO and aimed to evaluate their performance in terms of ranking within 24 hours. The results were impressive, with a significant portion of the articles ranking on the first page of Google in this short period. This rapid ranking highlights Surfer SEO’s effectiveness in producing content that excels in search results.
The speaker also addresses the cost of Surfer SEO, acknowledging that it might be pricey for some users. However, they emphasize the importance of considering the return on investment (ROI). If the content generated with Surfer SEO leads to revenue, then the expense can be justified. The video provides valuable insights into the speaker’s personal experience with Surfer SEO, offering a balanced view of its advantages and drawbacks, and serves as a useful guide for those contemplating this SEO tool.
In summary, the video effectively demonstrates Surfer SEO’s capability to quickly generate high-performing SEO content, while also advising viewers to weigh its cost against the potential financial returns it can offer.

Great vid, I use Frase as Iβve got the lifetime deal which is great for my needs
Me too, big fan of Frase! New video here: https://youtu.be/DEQwNHYUfKI
It’s safe to say the less content you make about Surfer, the better. π
OK let’s briskly move on π€£ Video here: https://youtu.be/DEQwNHYUfKI
Why Alex?
Your video’s bell notification really courage me to open that
That’s awesome! Next video one here: https://youtu.be/DEQwNHYUfKI
Google ranking = quality content + domain EAT + market competition
My take:
Surfer AI does create something good ai content, now the hard part is EAT & optimizing UX.
EAT = 1 small cog in the machine. Highly overrated IMO and in my experience.
thank you. i am thinking the same. you can say it better.
I’d say the 80/20 of EEAT is just backlinks if you want the most impact. New video here: https://youtu.be/DEQwNHYUfKI
It would be great for interesting to try this with Surge Graph. I am also thinking you rank because of your authority on n this niche. Thx for your great and informative info
Agreed !
Thanks! Bit of both, the backlinks pointing to this site have a huge impact too. New video here: https://youtu.be/ox3draE2nHM
Let me first say that I appreciate your videos and showing the different ideas.
I looked at one of the keywords. “do birds eat dog poop” 140 searches a month and only 3 websites, with yours included, in the allintitle search parameter. Meaning that only 3 websites targeted that keyword with their title tag which is one of the major search ranking signals.
I could rank a similar keyword in my niche with ChatGPT 4 without anything else. The API cost for GPT 4 for a 1000 word article is $0.12. Yes 12 cents. So why the heck would I pay $29.00? The only tool I am curious about is SurgeGraph since I can give it my api key for GPT-4. Then the optimization might be worth it at the volume I use.
Hey, Pastor Duke π
I think it’s fair play to use long tail keywords here. By definition, there are many more long tail keywords. And the real edge these tools give is producing more content at scale. So, naturally it means doing more long tail content (statistically speaking).
Also, given his audience, I don’t think there would be much value in having the tool write an article like “best credit cards”.
I think the point here is that any unedited, pushbutton AI output that gets indexed and ranks is notable (at any price).
And about that price, i’m not in the surfer tribe. And that pricing wouldn’t work for me anyway. I appreciate your analysis and I agree with your point, about high pricing being a non-starter for low ROI opportunities.
But it surprises me how people are freaking out, almost like it’s a personal offense.. it’s just a business decision… businesses make them every day. Also, Matt D is an investor in that business. Why people would take issue with him promoting a product he’s invested in is beyond me. π€·ββοΈ
@@j_yh Personally I don’t take issue with any of it. People need to make intelligent decisions about what works for them. The only issue I was bringing up is that there is no need to pay high prices for keywords that are as easy as that one was. With informational posts, Surfer needs to get you onto the top 10 with a keyword volume of 10,000 per month and 500 competitors trying to rank for the keyword. Otherwise, it is throwing money away. I can write 241 articles targeting low volume, low competition keywords and rank page 1 for the price of 1 surfer article.
@@PastorDukeTaber the power of numbers! Yes, agree.. Love how you break it down there. π
@@PastorDukeTaber Do you write them yourself or you use ChatGPT4?
I do not like writing much but chatGPT can do the work then i am fine wit it
There are many ways to create AI content, it’s just about finding what works for you. I know my audience is interested in tools so I like at all the options. New video here: https://youtu.be/ox3draE2nHM
Appreciate the feedback of surfer SEO buddy, just waiting for a video where u teach us to explore untapped niches in international SEO, with enough money making potential. Keep up the great work buddy π
Thank you! Video on niche selection here: https://youtu.be/Pj2d76ITlfM
Your site has already got authority so its ranking naturally. Without surfer it will also rank.
agreed
Thanks for watching! New video here – https://youtu.be/DEQwNHYUfKI
Nice video Julian! Sub’d to keep up with your progress. I’m currently running a bunch of tests over here too so would love to compare notes down the road. I’m doing high content velocity (500+ pages) so it’s going to be fun to see what happens. Cheers!
That’s awesome! Loving the high content velocity, it’s amazing what you can achieve with it now. New video here: https://youtu.be/DEQwNHYUfKI
I am very happy to find videos about my work I am enjoying your video very muchΫ love you bro π
Thanks so much! Next video out here – https://youtu.be/DEQwNHYUfKI
Good video, may be you can make a video on how do you do your keyword research to find low competition keywords.
Thanks! You can check out the free keyword research video here: https://youtu.be/rwHmq2wlsqo
A comparison between just some bog standard chat gpt content would be good. Looking at these keywords and the authority of the sites ranking I’m guessing you could just copy and paste any old content and publish as long as the URL and title match.
Thanks! You can see that in the first Surfer AI video here: https://youtu.be/Wf2W_4nfEPs
Just published the next video on free ways to rank with ChatGPT 3.5: https://youtu.be/DEQwNHYUfKI
Julian can you buy Surfer AI credits ala carte or do you need a Surfer subscription plan?
And have your tried Koala AI? It appears to be loads cheaperβ¦
I heard a lot of good things about Koala. My Surfer content still ranks. From what I remember, you subscribe and then buy credits.
