is it possible for the F / fred not to be visable in the meeting room?
I had the same question. Idk why they make the assistant visible, people should be able to use this privately. I reached out to Otter AI which provides the same service and they also said they can’t hide the assistant and it will show in the meeting like a participant.
You can record the meeting on your phone or whatever device and upload the audio and it will perform teh same AI functions.

will it work in other languages ? or English only ?
Please make it so that people can use this service privately, have it run in the background or something. Some of us don’t like that the assistant shows in the meeting like another participant. Some people may want to use this service for themselves without sharing notes with others. I’m pretty sure some people may need this as a work accommodation rather than just a convenience thing (people with severe adhd por example)
Hey @prezzlola, you are asking them to do something illegal, depending on your state. And some companies have policies that don’t allow you to do that. They require two-party approval. I live in a state where we must get verbal approval before recording starts. And if someone comes in late, we stop the talk and ask them for approval.
What you are asking for could be considered sneaky.
@@IrishBratSD I just don’t understand why companies make such a big deal about recording meetings. We all have smart phones, I could press a button and record everything if I wanted to. But that’s not what I’m trying to do, I just need a little help taking notes so I can do my work more efficiently. But they act like it’d be the end of the world if I do. I just wanna be able to record meetings without having to announce to everyone “hey, we gotta record this meeting because someone here is slow and can’t take notes”. Some of us prefer to keep certain things private (like medical conditions). But employers wanna act all crazy, about it. If wanted to steal company data, I could have done that easily, long time ago, it is literally at my fingertips, but that’s not want I want.

I named mine my same name I join with and it looks like there’s two of me in the meeting and I tell them I joined from my phone too in case i get disconnected but honestly most people don’t even ask or care.
HOw do we use 2 different emails where meetings are scheduled? Do we have to purchase an account for each email?
Shame it’s a great product but when adding team members shared all my admin meetings to all my team. All 190 confidential meetings. It has the potential to cause significant damage to our company. Really poor 👎👎
Does fireflies create meeting minutes in word document?
I have used it ! This tool is just mindblowing. Ideally if you could remove “fireflies bot is on the meeting” in Teams and Zoom it would be perfect!
